Where better to enjoy the vibrant colours of springtime than at the annual Spring Spectacular event at the Pavilion Gardens in Buxton.
This great family event takes place over the Spring Bank Holiday Weekend at the end of May, Saturday to Monday, 10 am to 5 pm.
Over the three days, the Octagon Hall will be full of beautiful and quirky stands and on the Promenade there will be a great mix of street food traders, children's entertainment and bands playing on the bandstand.
Each day there will be over 70 traders selling food and drink, jewellery and fashions, home and garden ware and a fabulous selection of unique handmade crafts. Outdoors there will be internationally inspired hot food from around the world such as Thai, Polish, Spanish, Caribbean and Mexican and a variety of sweet foods such as Churros, Crepes, Doughnuts and Candy Floss.
Children's entertainment such as Punch & Judy performances, balloon modelling, magic tricks and circus skills, face painting, donkey rides, ferret racing, miniature train rides and Children's fairground rides will take place over the weekend (subject to weather).
All of this will be accompanied by the sound of great British brass bands from around Derbyshire and the High Peak playing on the bandstand between 2 pm and 4 pm most days.
Quality local food is always at the heart of the Pavilion Gardens and situated in the main building you will find the fantastic Pavilion Café and Art Café, contemporary Coffee Bar with indoor and outdoor Promenade seating and popular ice cream parlour.
