Buxton by Lamp Light – Saturday 21st November
Join us on Saturday 21st November for Buxton by Lamp Light, a fantastic day of festive entertainment for the whole family.
The celebrations begin with our indoor and outdoor Christmas markets, open from 10am until 7pm. Browse a wonderful selection of stalls, discover unique gifts and enjoy the festive atmosphere throughout the Pavilion Gardens.
As evening falls, the main event will begin at the Palace Hotel, before making its way to the Crescent Heritage Centre, past the Buxton Opera House and finishing at the Pavilion Gardens.
The parade will be led by St Peter’s School, accompanied by the fantastic Thornsett Band, bringing music and festive cheer through the heart of Buxton.
Once the parade arrives at the Pavilion Gardens, High Peak 1 Radio will be entertaining everyone from the bandstand with live music, Christmas party favourites and the official festive light switch-on.
It promises to be a magical evening for everyone to enjoy, so gather your family and friends and join us for this special community celebration.
